BRYAN

LANGAN

TENNESSEE SENATE DISTRICT 7

Hi, my name is Bryan Langan, and I’m running to bring accountability to our legislature and affordability to the people of Tennessee.

A graduate of the University of Tennessee, and a current resident of the Karns community, I’m running for Tennessee Senate to represent the people of District 7. Having worked in blue collar jobs for nearly three decades, my experience in restaurants, management and transition to the trades means I know first-hand the challenges Tennessee workers face. I believe that instead of listening to the corporations and special interests, it is time for the voice of people to be heard in our state legislature, and I hope to earn the vote of every hard-working Tennesseean in District 7.

Let’s be honest, for the past 15 years the Tennessee GOP has held all three branches of our state government, and instead of working to make life better and more affordable for Tennesseans, their policies have made life more difficult. Under their leadership our healthcare costs are higher., yet we have fewer hospitals offering fewer services in our communities. The cost of basic utilities like water and electricity are skyrocketing. Housing costs have gone through the roof. Wages haven’t kept up and job growth has come to a screeching halt, making the purchase of a home nearly impossible for many hardworking Tennesseans. Instead of addressing affordability, they pass legislation that allows companies to save a buck by taking advantage of our workers, polluting our waterways and destroying our land.

Tennesseans deserve better.

Tennessee Belongs to the People!

Our legislature should be working on the issues that improve the lives of Tennesseans instead of the divisive and oppressive politics of our current supermajority. My focus will be on delivering tangible benefits for the people of Tennessee and making sure their voice is heard in our legislature long after I’m gone because for too long the Tennessee Legislature has sold out the people of Tennessee to the corporations, billionaires and special interest groups that fund their campaigns and come here to pillage our resources and underpay our workers. That’s why I will work to pass campaign funding laws that curb corporate influence in our elections and will introduce legislation to enact term limits for senators, representatives and judges in Tennessee. This November I hope you will send me to Nashville with the message that they work for us.

When elected, I will work to defend the rights of all Tennesseans, make Tennessee more affordable and ensure future generations have access to the natural beauty of our state.

I hope you will join me. Together we can send a message to Nashville and let them know loud and clear...

This is Our Tennessee!
